Unit economics
Fees change. This calculator deliberately does not hardcode Amazon's fee table, because a stale number produces a confident wrong answer. Enter the real figures from Seller Central.

What this works out
- Profit per unit after referral fee, FBA fulfilment, storage, inbound freight and advertising
- Contribution margin as a percentage of net revenue, after accounting for returns
- The break-even price: the lowest price at which the product stops losing money
- Monthly profit and revenue at the unit volume you enter
If the result raises a question you would rather not answer alone, the related services below are the parts of the business this tool usually points at. There is no obligation attached to any of it.
Questions about this tool
Which FBA fee should I enter?
The exact fulfilment fee for your product's size and weight tier, taken from the Revenue Calculator inside Seller Central. Amazon updates fee schedules, and a calculator that hardcodes them becomes wrong quietly. We deliberately ask you to paste the real number instead of guessing it for you.
Why does the break-even price differ from my product cost?
Because Amazon charges percentage fees on the sale price, advertising is a per-unit cost, and a share of units come back as returns. The break-even price solves for the point where price minus all of those equals zero, which is always above the simple sum of your costs.
Does this include the monthly storage fee?
It includes a per-unit storage figure that you enter, which is the practical way to model it for a product that turns over regularly. If your inventory sits for a long time, use the long-term storage rate and a realistic average, or the number will flatter the product.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is stored, logged or transmitted, and there is no account or email gate.
